The SA FILM Academy is proud to present its first production under the Entrepreneurship Content Hub: NKANYEZI named a finalist in the Disability Representation. Scripted Feature category at the 2026 Inclusive Lens Awards (ILA). – Inspired by real events, NKANYEZI follows a woman with a physical disability who discovers love and begins imagining an independent future. When her controlling mother threatens to dismantle those dreams, Nkanyezi is forced to confront the limits of protection and make a life-altering decision.
