What is POPIA?

POPIA is an Act established in South Africa with the intention of protecting personal information and privacy. Most organisations collect personally identifiable data to run organisations and businesses, it is therefore important that the way data is being processed is regulated by a governing body. SA FILM Academy fully supports POPIA and the need for the conditions set out therein.
